I have visited this place many times. Several years ago the quality of the place was a bit better, however, Las Sirenas is still a great place to visit and stay. The cabins and houses that they have are very basic and not very updated, however they are clean. They have cabins that are literally right on the beach which is awesome. All cabins and houses are equipped with kitchens, cookware, refrigerators. They also provide towels and hammocks. There is AC in the bedrooms. We recently discovered that they offer a "pasadia" option with your own cabin for just the day for $84. Also, the best part about this place is the beach. This beach is usually very quiet and not crowded. Usually the waves are not rough and this allows for kids to easily play in the water. It is not a surfing beach.
If peace and quiet is your thing with beach just meters from your back door, this is the place for you. In room kitchens mean big savings. Places are clean and people are friendly. Town is a few minutes away. T large resort is a short walk diwnvthe beach but they don't come down this far to upset the peace of these code cabanas.
Lack of security, we had one robber who broke into our bungalow.
The hill-top cabins are newer and nicer then the beach-side ones. The quality of the hilltop cabins is good. The beach-side ones are just ok. But because there is nothing else in that price category I will rate it very good
